What role did women play in the Lao revolution? And how are women in the revolution depicted today? I spoke at the Australian Anthropology Society conference in November 2022 on a panel on “Revolutionary Mothering.” I was delighted to be able to share the results of some of my recent investigations into women’s role in the Lao revolution, and particularly the way this is discussed in recent Lao-language literature.
